Are the Corel news servers down?

I've not been able to login to the Corel news since yesterday and wondered.

Here (and as of my timestamp), too. Message I'm seeing is:

Could not connect to server cnews.corel.com; the connection was refused.

We wait and see if it's intentional.

It's now 6:00 AM Monday 23rd April (St George's) in the UK and still no
connection to the Corel news servers.

(Very old apocryphal joke).

Perhaps the janitor/cleaner came in last week and unplugged the server
rack to plug in the vacuum cleaner and forgot to switch it back on. ;-)

Seeing as they're about 4 hrs behind I'm not expecting any change till at
least 2 this afternoon, unless of course it is just the switch. :-)
