Hi there,
looking for some advice if anybody can help ?
due to the recent snow falls in the UK ive been doing a lot of pictures in
the snow, but when i view them where there are shadows the snow takes on a
blue hue, im aware of the reason, that is to say its reflecting the sky but
what i was wondering is.. dose anybody know the steps to change it back to
white, ive tryed a few combos but none are quite right, greatful for any
assistance Cam....

Depends on what version of PSP you have and the particular image(s) you
are working with. For pictures that are otherwise perfectly fine but with
some small, bluish, shadowed areas: in older versions of PSP try using the
Retouch tool, set to Saturation Down with appropriate brush
size/opacity/etc. and "paint" over the shadowed areas. This will have the
effect of changing the blue "cast" of the shadows to a gray which should
work well for shadows. In newer versions use the Saturation brush in the
same way.

For pictures that have wider areas of bluish cast, you could try using the
Manual Color Correction tool. Select one of the bluish areas as your
source, set the target to white and adjust the Lightness level as
appropriate.

Hi Whoever,
im paint shop pro X, been trying to figure it out and still limited
success, thanks for your help, Cam,
It would be helpful if you can post a link to a sample of the picture(s)
you are working with. There are various places where you can post an image
to the net for free. Windows Live's Skydrive or Shutterfly come to mind.
With a sample to look at, you will probably receive more specific help with
your particular problem.
